Most powerful marvel heroes

who would you guys say were/are the most powerful marvel heroes (top 5, in that order) in each heroes respective primes?

1- Silver Surfer
2- Thor/Adam Warlock
3- Hulk/Quasar
4- Sentry/Black Bolt/Nova/Hercules/Gladiator
5- Thing/Iron Man/Colossus, etc

i can keep going and still name a dozen more before i even think of adding sentry..

Are we only to list "heroes" (as in, those who typically fight for good) and not just Marvel characters? I ask because from the two lists already posted, none of them contain the characters who even come close to being the most powerful.

If by conventional heroes, I'd say Classic Strange, Surfer, and Thor are generally seen as Marvel's top three most powerful heroes. Arguements abound can be made for 4th and 5th, but I always saw those three as the most powerful.

Right now the ones that are ACTIVE as HEROES (i.e. not just rulers or good guys who have heroed in the past), I would say are:
Surfer
Thor
Nova
Magneto (yes, he's a hero right now)
Doctor Voodoo

Strange is currently less-powered, Beta Ray Bill is out looking for answers in space, Black Bolt is dead, Gladiator's playing monarch, Adam Warlock's been taken over by Magus, Sentry is not a hero, Banner isn't currently Hulk, Sersi hasn't been seen in awhile, X-man was sucked away somewhere (but we know he's coming back, and he'll be high up there when he does. Likewise Quasar doesn't have a body at the moment but when he does he'll get a spot too), etc. etc.. Most of the traditional big hitters are out of actions or missing or depowered.

also, are we including villains or just heroes? I don't care what Magneto is currently doing, he is widely accepted as a bad guy.

what about the blue marvel? he owned the sentry in single combat and he nearly cracked the moon in half with a single punch

Oooh, I missed that. In that case the list is going to be mostly of people who had a major cosmic power under their control for awhile.

Jean (when she was phoenix but not dark), Rachel Summers (ditto), Thor (with Odinforce), etc..
