mihawk has very limited feats and to say he's faster than virgil without any speed feats is crazy...vergil and sephiroth are master swordsman too dont forget...maybe 1 on 1 he would have a chance but at the same time no....he should be lucky that no powers involved
Vergil can kinda cut things from REALLY far away instantly and make these weird "slash sphere" things I can't even describe...I think he wins, although I admit I have forgotten alot about One Piece. But Vergil can make a wall of slashes that looks like a laser security field, all in what appears to be 1 swing of his Yamato.
Can he cut things further away than this:
And Mihawks faster than Luffys Jet Bazooka, which is pretty f'ing fast.

Here is what the Yamato can do, note that this is Dante usin' it, someone far less skilled with it than Vergil.

Also, Vergil is so fast, he can repel rain to a point here he will not get wet in a storm.

Also should be said that this is a young Vergil...really don't think Verg needs Seph's help to win this. Unlike Seph OR Dante, Verg doesn't use any special trinkets, all he does is straight up sword fight (most of the time).

Its much bigger than what Yamato did, but I doubt its as hard, though it is thicker.
And thats just old graphics not being up to scratch enough to have characters get wet, though of course I have seen the other vid where he's moving so fast rain is suspended.
One thing about Mihawk is that he's never really shown his full potential, kind of like Sephiroth. But he's toyed with Gear 2 Luffy (who is faaar beyond bullet-timing) and can casually bat bullets away with his massive ****-off sword without even looking at them. He also has some form of teleportation as he shows here.

Yeah that is pretty nice. Still though, Vergil is capable of throwin' out so many slashes from far range that it appears like a security laser grid. This attack is also instant, the slashes just appear from out of nowhere, just by him drawin' his sword. He can also summon "spherical time space slash anomalies" that appear instantly at long distance with next to no warnin'.

The vid I meant to show has the brothers slash so fast that it literally creates a force field that stops rain from hitting them all on speed alone. Vergil is well beyond hyper sonic.

Vergil has also never been shown usin' his Yamato at full strength. Vergil gets most of his show time in DMC3 when he is much younger. In DMC1, he is not himself and is being controlled by another. I haven't even mentioned Vergil's insane regeneration.
