Prove that he doesn't. The OP states that te person has to remain conscious and alive after the blast. Apoc gets creamed, but then regenerates without losing his conscious.

his powers are based on will, when he gets weakened he gets all goopy

not saying apocalypse would succeed here, but him reforming from mass damage means he's still functional

Old school Nefaria probably could.

Ummmm Superman, SS or Thor taking a full powered blast and not getting KO'd.... It is possible but not probable IMO.
