i'm guessing this has something to do with beast beating up sabretooth once (same issue where sabes rips through archangel's metal wings) whom defeated a wendigo seemingly nonchalantly.

you mean when sabe escaped and had to fight with all the x men getting stopped and interrupted by hank b4 cyclops blasted him?
