Thor by himself will create some serious problems for the X-Men. Then add the other gods? The X-Men cannot win this.

Imagine Mjolnir calling down a storm with lightning that roasts Cyclops, Emma Frost, Nightcrawler and Archangel alive. That's four down in five seconds flat, then the gods take care of the rest.
