Agreed.

B. The friend zone is inescapable.

i have escaped it so i beg to differ

I'm sure it can be done, but I haven't the patience for it.

Having a member of he opposite sex (who you are attracted to), thinking:

A: You are hot as hell, but they hate you.

B: You are meh looking, but they love you as a person.

probably B is worse

Indeed.

Option A. I just turn it around later using charm and well placed presents.

The friend zone can be escaped. I've done it. It's just....hard. And annoying, because it's always a long process.

I'd vote for B. I dislike anyone hating me. It just shouldn't happen. I'm too likable. 😊

Besides, there's always other girls. Might as well have a friend, since both options in the OP suck.

Potential disaster. If you really care about the chick as a friend, then have sex, say it doesn't work out, there's always the chance of not being able to go back to being friends.

They're both pretty bad.

Friend zone sucks.

And I've known girls that told me that I was hot, followed by "But I hate you as a person". Which I don't know why they would hate me. I'm a very nice person, and I can always make people laugh. I think one of the things I do best is when my girlfriend (or girl that happens to be a friend) is upset, I can make them happy again by making them laugh.

One time a girl told me she doesn't like me because I don't smoke. And she said that if I started smoking, she would go out with me. I promptly told her "HELL no."

Girls are extremely complicated sometimes.
