Thomas , no probelm, No hard feelings on my end. I wasnt trying to start anything when I made this topic! Its just hard to understand why someone would want to come in here and "piss in my corn flakes" so to say!
I guess I just go by the old addage: Treat others like you would want to be treated! Might be corny , but I think it works if you try it!

Thomas , I agree about the MC , great movie! And I do agree that alot of remade movies suck, My point was that if done RIGHT, it can be a good thing!
I really dont see how anyone cant like the 80's THING better than the 50's version! But hey whatever!!

Roight, let's get down to rules here. I am the mod of this damn area and I have made my view clear. People CAN come here and say they do not want films re-made if they want. And I am sorry if you take exception to that, Alphamale, but that makes no difference. You have no control over a thread just because you made it, and on this board there IS room for small variation in topic content. A topic broadly about re-making films is one that has room for people saying they do not like the idea. Odd thing is, if you had just let that comment stand, there would have been no need to follow it up and probably this thread would have been a whole lot more on topic.
Regardless of what you think is elementary, you don't run things around here. This is how it works, and that is the end of the story.
That is a FINAL judgment, you have any more compliants, make them in private, don't clutter this thread.
And the 80's version is much better, of course.
i actually thought of a few movies that had good remakes... oceans 11 was good...the new gone in 60 seconds is enjoyable... but those are it i think... i dont think its really necessary to remake movies, id rather see new ideas.... however... now that peter jackson is one of the more presegious directors in the world... i would like to see him remake his old horror movies with bigger budgets, so he could afford better effects and what not.
