dracula beat apocalypse, van helsing saved him, dracula was resurrected, then he orchestrated the revival of all the vampires, then killed when he tried to take over britain, we have yet to find out how he's come back.
dracula only defeated apocalypse when apoc was awakened early and was also weakened by draculas bite. apoc would have won if it werent for drac being able to control him imo.
and question, are they going to establish a race of vampires in marvel?

yea, that's what they appear to be doing, for the first time they're establishing the various sects of vampires in the marvel universe, according to the interviews the x-men is only one step, soon they'll be in the avengers and other books too.

There are vampires in Marvel. You may have heard of a character named Blade.
