dont know about ionic wonderman, but classic wonderman admitted that he was no thor. so, with strenght not equal to thor, which is all classic woderman has got going for him he loses very badly.

so is thor. he may have gotten knocked out by a bullet before but he wasn't penetrated by the bullet so he's still bullet proof.

Even if Simon matched him in strength (which I'd be doubtful of, though close enough to put up a good fight), Superman has a lot more versatility.
