How do Grevious and magnaguards deflect blaster bolts?

They don't have pre cognition, so how do they deflect blaster bolts?

They move very quickly? As shown by Grievous's strike-per-second that and the fact they are robots so they'd be able to figure out the trajectory of the bolts I'd guess.

Grievous' speed was sufficient to overwhelm most Jedi (even Obi-Wan) - so it's only logical that he was able to deflect blaster bolts, as they can.

Don't blaster bolts in SW travel at speeds comparable to bullets?

Imagine a line coming out of a blaster. If you keep an object in direct path of that line, it should hit the object and not you, whether the projectile traveling the line is traveling at one meter a second or a billion.

Without the force, you don't know when the shot's going to come out without reading the person's reflexes, or how much they'll pull the aim when they trigger the shot, so it is not as good and I would not recommend it, but it's still possible.

very fast. faster than the bolts.. as fast as the jedi do. How do they not act like it?

Plo Koon knows it. Kit Fisto knows it. Why doesn't Vader know it? Guy should be a walking refrigeration unit by now.

That's true. None of them were caught mid-swing or anything. Worst offender is Anakin. Didn't even try to save his arm.

I guess Grievous just had his kind of... grazed by Obi's saber.

I thought Dooku's disarming looked fairly realistic.
