i loved the last red faction (guerilla-360). i really got it that game. loved the physics. i remember '03's RF2 for the xbox and getting into that one too. so i'm really looking foward to this one. 50 years afterwards, hu. what happened to Alec Mason. Guess we'll find out at the beginning of armageddon

Looks like a 3 person shooter of Doom. But why go back to its roots so suddenly?

I loved Red Faction Guerilla, and Armageddon looks bad***. I liked the gameplay footage Volition showed at E3. I can't wait to use the magnet gun. I'm looking forward to this game.

The poor sales were probably because of the vast gameplay shift and how short the game was.

It was so mission oriented that you could get through it in a few hours. Whereas with Guerilla, you could just run around and blow sh*t up as you please.

I really think THQ should just leave the franchise and come back to it in 5 or 10 years.

Yeah, i think, after Armageddon that they should just leave it alone period. No one would remember the franchise after five years. armageddon was definitely in need of open world exploration
