Summary of his claims in LIST form:

-Kintaro is in and is a boss
-Red woman is playable but has NO NAME YET
-Quan Chi is in
-Dan forden Returns
-Graphics update
-Sheeva in and has her skin rip fatality.
-Kabal in and has all of his MK3 moves.
-Shangs Alternate is an old man
-Krypt is back
-Shang Tsung has his soul steal special move again
-Sindel Fatality: Screma in one ear and the other side of the head explodes.
-Sonyas fatality, splits the opponent up with her legs.
-Sonyas alt: Cap, Sunglasses and a white tanktop
-Kano is still against sonya and jax.
-Sindel xray: crotch kick and snaps an elbow backwards then a throw
-Kano Licks his Knife (id immagine this implies hes in aswell)
-"damn him and his missiles and his hyakuretsu ken, and bicycle copter"-Sektor refference obveously. (OMG classic cyrax fatality to sektor!?)

Also sais a body hanging upside down with the chest open n skin stretched out is there.

-Earthrealm City in mid-merging with outworld.
-Classic Music is back (possibly unlocked)
-Johny Cage will fight Goro at some point (or at least hinted by a video link)
-Shao Kahn has taunts, a GREEN hammer and his upwards shadow dash.

As for most brutal, dunno. They are all pretty brutal IMO. Kitana literally impales her fans twice into the opponent. Sub-zero crushes organs. Ermac's & Sektor's are pretty brutal as well.

THose are pretty brutal IMO. Though Goro's skull crushing is badass. Nearly as badass as Scorpion stepping on his opponent. 😎

I beg to differ there. ermm And I see his fighting yells are as annoying sounding as ever. The return of his dragon animality is a plus though I'll admit.

Who the f would you prefer? Better to keep Liu Kang than replace him with another mainstay; Cage is better as the loud jovial guy, Kung Lao's just a jealous, whiny pissant, Scorpion's on no one's side but his own, and Sonya's a woman. Being the resident Bruce Lee-inspired character is hardly a setback. Rather, it's a perk.

Pretty much anyone else. Even Shujinko and Taven caught my interest a lot more than Liu, especially since he just became a mindless zombie at the time those two were the main protagonists.

Am fine with that, as long as he gets his fair share of victories too, and from what I'm hearing about him fighting Goro at some point in this game, it gives me hope. If this just becomes another Liu Lame wankfest like all the main games before Deadly Alliance were though, I'll be much less interested in the game's story.

I could pretty much care less about the regular Kung Lao, although his ancestor (the Great Kung Lao) was pretty cool, more than Liu Lame anyway.

That entirely depends on how they execute him in the story. In Deception, he became a direct representative of the Elder Gods, and even before that, he was (in his own way) helping the good guys by hunting down Quan Chi and such. What "side" Scorpion is on is of little importance; it's his actions that mainly define him, making him one of the more interesting and unpredictable characters.

It was a setback in how they brought him back as a zombie and what not. I'll wait until playing the new game's story before deciding on whether or not it was a setback this time, though.

It's a completely different gist actually. Read the bold and underlined parts of the following quote from Ed Boon...

Raiden is about to be killed by Shao Kahn, and just before he delivers the last blow, he sends a mental message to his earlier self, so the camera rewinds back to Mortal Kombat 1. The Raiden from back then gets a message and he doesn't know what's going on, but he knows something bad's going to happen, and the game spans Mortal Kombat 1, 2 and 3, retelling the story with an enlightened Raiden, and he's changing the course of things, so everything you've seen happen before – Liu Kang winning, the guys turning into cybernetic ninjas, are changed around, so you might see a character become cybernetic who wasn't before, and so you see a different version [of events].

Considering Scorpion's the Poster boy of the Studio making the game...ermm

Also, Ridley pretty much said it all.

Liu was fairly good at the beginning, but he was whored out in favour of other, better, characters. Which is why his death in DA was their greatest move ever, apart from of course, making MK9 as awesome as it seems to be (bringing back Liu as a Zombeh screwed up the former).

Indeed, and the way he's in denial about being brothers with Sub-zero is kinda wicked within itself. Wonder if he'll get "saved" like the younger Sub was attempting/planning to do in Armageddon's konquest mode after Taven beat him.

It's not final, they can still appeal etc. Aliens vs Predator was banned, appealed, and got through with no edits whatsoever. Although if MK does end up staying banned, it won't be re-classified if the 18+ comes in, which is the worst part.

Someone on Kotaku made a point about the way things are rated, if you blow someone's head off in a FPS - that's ok, because it's a 'defensive' move. If you rip someone's head off in MK - that's not ok because it's an organized fighting tournament. 😐
