Jumped ahead in the comic. Was actually kind of disappointed

Spoiler:
Negan not only lived, but ended up being locked away forever. Kind of an pathetic ending to a great villain..

At the least, Rick should have put him in some sort of labor program.. Clear out zombies, help build walls, all under supervision. More of a humane sentence then letting him rot, shows him first hand how wrong he was, and could serve as an inspiration to the people he oppressed..

The ending of the most recent issue disagrees with you. 😉

Damnit, Kirkman.

The way

Spoiler:
Negan reacted to Rick's little speech, plus his other actions, I had him pegged as either shortsighted, or a little insane, but not really evil.

But assuming the community actually tried my idea, and it backfired horribly?

Spoiler:
And risk the chance of him interacting with others, and eventually escaping? Not likely. You forget how cunning Negan is.

As it stands, they had him imprisoned for yearS without incident. In fact, he'd still be incarcerated if it weren't for Rick's obsessive greed right now, which is pissing people off(and will lead to his downfall, imo.)

Sounds like I've got some catching up yet to do.

Spoiler:
So Rick's finally doing the face/heel turn everybody predicted for years now.

Not sure how I feel about that..

Crazy Rick = Best Rick 👆

Seems the "if Daryl dies, we riot!" phase from the season 3 days or so kinda died down, at least here. lol I guess more and more have accepted by now that he may in fact meet his end. What happened at the end of the episode only looked like he got shot in the shoulder or something though, but get the feeling he'll get the final nail in the finale if he's even still alive.

Finally get to see the new big bad. Maybe he will rival my governor and then again maybe not.

Spoiler:
Dwight says: "he'll be alright" afterward, so yeah, I'd guess the GSW isn't life threatening.

Anyway...

Spoiler:

Crappy episode until the last 10mins. Well, it may not have been 'crappy', but it was definitely less enjoyable than the rest of the episodes this season, imo. Just filler, is all.

However, the finale next week is 90mins long, and we will FINALLY get Negan... The preview gave me a raging erection. 👆

Finale Trailer

droolio

Next week's episode should be a home run in ratings. Yeah the mid season finale should be a big hit.

Haven't they already done the Mid Season Finale?

Shouldn't this be the Season Finale?

Yep. The mid-season finale was Morgan stupidity at its finest. We're bound to get something on a whole other league in the actual finale next week, one way or another.

My mistake. Point still stands though.

Morgan should get the bat TBQH 😬

Its always funny to see all the people that preferred Morgan when he was a psychopathic home crafts making zombie killing machine then a guy who has regained his sanity and how deals with moral issues.

But I guess that says more about society then it does this boring TV show.

Couldn't f*cking agree more. 👆

I can't believe the level of pussification his character has undergone... He's right up there with Golden Age Coral and Lori. 😘

Anyone else who has read the comics think

Spoiler:
the guy Rick and Morgan encountered at the stable was one of Ezekiel's men? Not only did his padding/armor + the fact that he has a horse fit the bill perfectly, but it would also make chronological sense given that Ezekiel and The Kingdom are about to play a huge role in future seasons.

Yeah, he's just annoying in most scenes.

Also not sure how many more Carol 'I don't want to kill you but I'll ****ing turn into the Punisher if you push it' scenes I can stomach. We get it, she's going through some emotional shit and she doesn't want to kill, when she's literally one of the best killers on the show.

How she went from Assassin's Creed when the Wolves attacked to this whimpering mess, I don't know.

I blame that shit on Morgan as well. He is tampering with a finely tuned killer and turning her into a softie.

Could be a limitation of the writers. They realize the Carol they created would never, ever be caught like Rick and his crew did, so we get this halfassed character assassination..

Either "version" is more interesting than the way Morgan was written in comics... such a waste...
