From just one shot of him isn't it a bit premature to judge so harshly? I mean, I'm not familiar with the comic, but as the character name suggests, he looks like he's kind of a clean-cut handsome type to take political and violent advantage of people. I'm excited about this season. Hope it's not dragged out and boring for a long time before it gets really good like Season 2. That first episode on Season 2 was so effing great and then it got boring... then good again at the end.

The Governor in the comic was an absolute lanky, greasy, sleazy loud psycho.
This actor is extremely straight faced. In the comic he didn't take too long to show his true colors either.
I guess this version will take his time.

Yeah, comic Governer almost looked like a hobo. Just looked like an all around semi-long haired douche-bag.

Ah, okay, so this is him. I think I'll wait and reserve judgement until I see how he plays the role. He doesn't quite look like he fits the part very well, but he could play a good a**hole, so we shall see...

And you know, I think you can get away with more in a comic than you can in "real life."

He's a decent enough actor. I think he'll play the part quite well, as long as the writers give him and the character a chance. What's with all the Brits getting juicy roles on US tv shows? I'm giving thought to going over to the States so I can get on television. 😄

Saw the first ep of the Prison Arc. Bloody Spectacular. In more was than one.

The team is alot more hardcore and hardened now. Cept Lori...who still sucks, but that was to be expected. Michonne is perfectly cast.

First episode's out already? I thought it was the 14th.

If you're not willing to illegally DL the actual episodes from season 3, I believe they will be available for purchase through Amazon or iTunes the day after they air (that's how seasons 1-2 were, from what I've heard.)

Wow, that was a great episode. I litteraly gasped when Rick tore the gas mask of a zombie and the face peeled away as well. And that final scene was ****in intense. No waiting just bam!

The gore was top notch. The survivors are hardcore now.

Yeah, the first episode was great. It should have been a two-parter, though, cuz it was good, but a major tease. You knew what was coming, and as soon as it did, it was the end. And perhaps somebody can explain to me why Rick is so pissed at Lori? Some of that drama seems a little forced to me..

My guess, her reaction when she found out Shane was dead. She acted all appalled and shit even though she was instigating a bit last season. You would think they would've worked it out during all the time that passed(off season).

On another note, I was wondering where the hell Rick got a silencer but then re-watched it and noticed it's a damn flashlight. Pretty ingenious. Anybody has any idea what Carl's silencer was made off?

I liked how Rick didn't hesitated at the end. All Hershel needs now is a pirate hat lol.

Solid season opener, that one ep was better than all of last season, imo. Excited again for this show. Have mixed feelings about Michone, she seems way too bad-ass and I hope it doesn't venture into the absurd. Do hope her and Andrea (the blonde) have a sexual relationship brewing.

Carl's silencer looked like some odd metal funnel.

I'm kinda ticked about Michone. As Tyreese was in a relationship with Carol(much younger in the book), and eventually Michone seduced him. But since there's no Tyreese, I guess they're going a different direction.
