The Walking Dead

This episode was pretty good. Bob got some much-needed character development, as did Sasha and Maggie. With three episodes left, the group is slowly but almost surely making its way to Terminus. However,

Spoiler:
more than a little concerned about Daryl and Beth
.

Maggie was bearing a disturbing resemblance to Andrea this episode.

I was starting to cringe when they were sitting at the table. Thank you, convenient plot disruptor. And as much as I'm in favour of Bob and Sasha getting some characterization in, that whole thing with Maggie going off on her own only to come back 20 minutes later having achieved and realized nothing was a contrivance. It was the only way the writers could think to get the token black couple alone together. Slight development aside, the sudden appearance and resolution of Maggie's little run-ahead made that segue:

I hope this is where we see why Daryl is stronger than Merle, cause we all know what Merle would do in this situation...

Hack off his hand and flee?

They'll probably have Daryl falling into step with being the bastard groupie for a bit (ala Merle in service with the Gov), only to turn around and be the hero at a pivotal point.

Most likely. He's too dyed-in-the-wool good guy to go full bad.

Yeah if any character is gonna go "Full Bad" I would vote on either and or Rick and Carl.

And then these rednecks will encounter Rick and the Gang, and Daryl will be forced to play the Andrea. And then he'll die saving Beth from the kidnappers or something. And I'll be so happy that the writers had the balls to kill him off.

Isn't it funny how this show seems to admit that only REDNECKS seem capable of surviving the Z-Apoc?!

Eat that you elitist City Folk!

I was thinking more along the lines of "completely conform to The Hunters without any moral twinges."

Your trailer isn't zombie proof. We win.

I don't think that's possible. Daryl's too attached to the group.

.

It aint the trailer that stops em... its the GUNS and other assorted weapons I keep in the trailer.
I win. You join the herd.

Nope. I got me a city slicker plan.

Liked this episode. Much better.

Now that was an episode of the Walking Dead. Lizzie's psychoticness surpassed my expectations, but I'm glad

Spoiler:
she's been put down now, and that Tyreese was able to forgive Carol (uneasy as it was) after she finally told him the truth.

(Do I really need to have spoiler tags? Better safe than sorry I guess)

Oh, and since I didn't say anything about the episode before that one here, I kinda like Bob more than I did earlier in the season now. Something tells me though that somethin' stupid like his drinking problem got the previous two groups he said he was with killed.

Agree with this. Now, time to fret about Beth/Daryl/Rick/co.

Whooo. Can finally move past the Lizzie Borden and Carol the Butcher chapter. Those girls were getting irritating and tiresome.

Anyone else get violent Fallout 3 flashbacks at the start? That song goes with any post-apocalypse.

That and Of Mice and Men.

B*tch please. Reading's for nurds.

Wutever bro. Uneducated people are the greatest danger to society, along with Commies, Democrats, Republicans and Libertarians.
