I have that issue. He didn't regenerate from goo, he drew from a power source he had stashed and used it in conjunction with his morphing powers in order to KO the X-men that were attacking him (by exploding outwards).
How the heck you came up with "he regenerated from goo" based on that scan/issue, I do not know....
I mean that wasn't even part of the story, not once in that issue was he regenerating from goo. Ever.... :-/

He did NOT regenerate. He used his shapeshifting powers to attack (like I said, by expanding/exploding himself outwards) and then return himself to normal. Geez, how are you able to comprehend things so badly. This is like saying Reed Richard regenerates after he stretches his fist to punch someone and then return it to its original shape... :-/
And not once was he reduced to a "goo state". Sheesh. This is why you credibility here.
Yes, I know he was weakened. But this issue has nothing to do with "regenerating from goo" as regeneration needs him to be forced INTO a state that he will heal from not something he willingly does with his own powers (being a shapeshifter and all) and then return to his original state.
