Have to agree.

But lets say a writer uses the term "light speed" to describe someone traveling across half a galaxy? Do we take his feat as canon, or the writers interpretation of his max speed though it contridicts what he's actually dipicting?

dont take the PIS concept they had in the story, runner has tranversed galaxys in seconds and he does this without using the speed technique, they also claim no one can go faster than light which is also bullsh*t.

also, flash is stated many comics that he cant go faster than light anyways if you want to go there 😄 😄

another wierd thing about it was when the race started, buried alien said that both the runner and makkari were keeping pace with him, and if he looked back to see the cheater he's lose his pace. then, when he did stop the cheater, he said he couldn't catch up. buried alien is a homage to coie barry allen whom famously ran himself to death by going max speed.

of coarse makkari wasn't going light speed at the time the race started so... where does that leave buried alien?

Probably just below light speed.

And he was a pretty cool homage. I actually liked him better then Barry Allen.
