That's because Thor is a major marvel character. And he has some wild fanboys to say the least.

Exactly the point. Despero might be stronger, but his durability as I said before is shit compared to Thanos'. Thanos punches Despero untill he falls.

Despero has owned 6 heralds at one time. That is a greater strength feat than thanos ever had.
