negi springfield joins the strawhats

negi joins Luffy's crew at the same time as Zoro. He fights along side them (and the rest of the crew when they finally join) against the enemy's the straw hats face along their journey to where the current chapters are now.

so basically its the same one piece story with negi thrown in at the beginning.

1) how much does he help them along their journey?

2) how far does he get in the story?

3) and does he lower the amount of time it takes for the straw hats to get where they are now?

Note: negi can only go lightning god 2 if he's on the verge of dying or critical condition.......he starts with beginnin of series strength and gradually gets stronger through every arc until he's current chapter in negima strength

1) Quite a lot, he's very smart as well as having versatile powers.

2) Pretty far. It'll be a couple power-ups before he can pull his weight, but nothing's likely to kill him until he gets up to reasonably strong, and at that point the odds of dying are very low. By the time they get to the East Blue he should at least be to when he started training with Eva, and by the time of the Water 7 Saga he'll have Magic Erebia, I'd think. Oh, it strikes me he'd likely Pactio with at least some of the crew too.

3) Hm, a bit faster though I'm hard pressed to think of big time-savers... they'd likely spend less time lost, which'll shave time off Skypiea. Rescuing Nico should be easier too. Thriller Bark should definitely be shorter, finish that one with more time till sunrise.

1) given his intellect, Negi could be an invaluable asset to the crew and that's without taking into consideration his power.

2) yeah, I agree with you, Q99 on this (although I still have to do some catching up on the Negima manga). Negi may start off with some problems, but he should be able to stick around for a majority of the story.

3) he would probably help shave some considerable time, especially since he's so versatile and can probably think of faster ways to take down the crew's enemies.

Hm... Negi could probably help them rescue Ace successfully, if he got to either Impel Down or Marineford in time.

From what the high tiers from One Piece have shown, none of them can beat Negi. So Luffy becomes the pirate king quite easily. 🙂
