Why is Countdown DS higher than GDS DS?

Anyway they definitely stop at 6.

countdown DS was able to fight Jimmy Olsen with the power of Hundreds of thousands of NGs. That seems more powerful than what GDS could do at least on a physical lvl.

Jimmy Olsen also barely understood the kind of power he possessed. He used his massive power to "Wonder Twins powers activate! Shape of: a giant turtle man!"

I'm not lowballing the feat, just stating that its nothing compared to what GDS DS did while weakened.

GDS used skill full strikes and more varied powers but, the raw power of hundreds of thousands of nG can't be duplicated by anyone in GDS. They were so powerful that Superman literally stodd around while thousands of people were killed in the vattle. Unable to do anything about it.

Jimmy wasn't tapping into anywhere near the full power of the combined New Gods. When Darkseid used that power in DOTNG he challenged the Source. IE: Jimmy Olsen was maybe using less than a percent of what he could have theoretically tapped.

Compared to one-shotting PC Mordru and PC Timetrapper that feat is pretty low.

DS one shotted Angel Supergirl and Secret. So one shotting PC mordru or time trapper is still what he still does. He one shotted Henshaw when even a galaxy bomb couldn't do it completely. DS didn't use the combined powers of the new gods in DOTNG. He used the ombined SOULS. Vastly more powerful than even their ombined might.

Well do you think that becoming a Giant Turtle Man is the apex of the NGs' combined might? I certainly hope not.

what ever Jimmy's might was, it was enuff that Superman and company could do nothing.

GDS had skillfull energy strikes. But Giant DS seemed more physcially opposing.

GDS DS was able to give a normal baby the strength and durability to absolutely pwn three PC Kryptonians at once, so it follows he could give himself the same powers if he didn't already have them.

There's also GDS DS's telepathy which is some of the best in comics.

His mental powers were awesome. But I'm going off of the fact that the heralds would be unleashing lots of energy blast and physical blows. And Giant count down DS can take all of that. Of course GDS could just make the heralds kill each other.
