First off, it just looks better. It's much more covert. How the **** can you be stealthy in orange?

I like the design of his staff here. I also like the green energy hue it emits.

Recognize the use of the energy sword as opposed to the promethium one. This sword also had a magnetic handle that would return to Slade after he dropped it, or impaled someone.

Lastly, notice the use of the teleportation device.

I just wanted to make the point that not only did this version of Deathstroke look better, he used better equipment. It's a fact.

But in that costume he got his ass kicked by Nightwing 😛

No, I prefer the original. That looks like 1990's design crap above.
Not like the orange glowed in the dark. And the colour compliments blue, just like it does for Taskmaster.
