Lotr Rpg

I have a question...I think I saw somewhere, or heard it from somebody that there is going to be Lord of the rings RPG. Could somebody affirm this, or tell me anything about it?

If so, the orignal game, MERP (Middle-Earth Role-Playing) has existed since 1982, and is very good, VERY detailed, if a little old-fashioned.

There is indeed a new one out., which I took a quick look at the other day. I was worried it would be very superficial compared to MERP, but I was surrprised to see it had a fairly good variety of things to be in it (including the three main Elf types, and discerning several types of men). However, the differences between the different types are not marked enough.

As for the system of it, I have no idea.

seriously, why do we try, what makes us persist, and drive to almost certain defeat? is it our genes, our muscles? do you think my muscles have anything to do with me in this place? 😬
the way we are, makes us WHO we are, deciding what to do, deciding what is right...or wrong for that mater shows us what kind of person we are.
It shows us what kind of person Frodo is
It shows us what kind of person Aragone is...and gandalf...ect
by acting in the way these excelent role-models do...we can show others how to have fun, and not be intimidated, and to learn from others' mistakes, chalenges and accomplishments...
IN other words, to stand down, and be defeated, may be what was 'supposed' to happen, but I know I won't give up🙂 and I hope others won't either🙂 you see, even the smallest person can change the course of the future...
and no mater where my life takes me, I know it will take me towards my higher goal...and when It does, my life will be more than ever, the best its been...And the one I love will always be with me, forever.
