the spectre has gone mad and unstable without a soul and has attacked the DCU magic hierarchy not enough he has broken the barriers of the space time continuum to destroy the multiverse and rid it all of no magic and only one reality.. he sees it all as an upfront to gawd...

He never backed down. He left when it became apparent none of the Gods of Olympus could help him find what he was looking for.

The twilight isn't as much of an upgrade without the Cask of Ancient Winters (Even if he destroyed the core of a dead galaxy with it..), and even more so if he's near the Eternal Flame.
