This movie is not very good.

It didn't suck as I expected, but yeah, not very good at all.

very claustrophobic, not into that.

went and seen this last week and enjoyed it not exactly movie of the year but it was still ok.

I mean Das Boot and not U571 even though its a good movie.

Devil is based on a series of concepts/short stories that Shyamalan's drafted called The Night Chronicles.

A series of stories based on the devil being a central character.

Shyamalan's idea is not to direct these stories into movies himself but to pass the rights to up & coming directors to adapt to the big screen.
Essentially like The Twillight Zone series.
