sell them... i could give two sh#$s about them..
i got a part time job at a toy store during the star wars franchise was restarted so i could get all the rare stuff...
my friends were all why the hell you working at a toy store, dont you already have a job? they couldnt grasp the nerdiness of me and another geek friend of mine.
it was a sad Christmas for children that year. 😄 xmas
got a bunch of jedi actions figures even the rare ones plus early limited number releases.. yoda, anakin, sammuel l jackson
i dont know.. *shoulder shrug* enough to fill two boxes neatly stacked on top of one another in an alternating pattern..a star wars stuff.
also have limited addition pewter models signed by sculpters artist with the numver written by hand.. marvel heroes and DC heroes..
i have boxes of comics plus 1st appearance of a lotta heroes.. like bishop, wolverine, gambit a bunch more.. i even got kicked out of a comic store for out bidding the owner over three rare comics. F4, uncanny xmen, and avengers all number 1 issue..
did some underhanded stuff to get my hands on some rare items worth in the thousands..
also have plush cotton action heroes stuff that are now worth something..
i have given one or two stuff away to my nephews and mt brother when he was younger.. always tried to explain how rare or hard to get they are and how much it means to me when i give it to them.. some how they dont care and probably ended up broken or in the trash,.
*shrugs* I buy figures to play with them. They're toys, not stocks in a Fortune 500 company. The chances of any of them being worth more than what you paid for later down the line are very slim. Some things will be, but most won't.
I'd rather have a well-loved collection than a bunch of boxes stashed away in a closet 😛

I pointed out yesterday to GK that part of why I always have a piece of kneaded eraser on my desk isn't only for when I'm drawing; it's because it sticks figures to my desk standing upright much better than those dinky plastic stands they snap on to do.
