Hm, I would lean to Saito, he impressed me more, but it's a good fight.

Aoshi was way weaker than Kenshin (seriously, Kenshin was making him look like an idiot without even drawing his sword), while Saito was about equal to him. Hell if we believe was was said about Usui, Saito was above Kenshin before he learned his new techniques in the Kyoto arc.

Um...what? Aoshi gave Kenshin a very hard fight the second time. First time too actually.

The first time was notable in that Saito considered that version of Kenshin weak. The second time, yea, that was a very hard fight, but I think Saito's zero-stance move would be hard for Aoshi to counter.

I believe him. Saito and Kenshin-in-full-manslayer mode were fighting around even without Saito using his zero-stance attack. It's only Kenshin's ultimate attacks that put him back on top.

Saito's problem is that he only uses gatotsu (different stances I know) and nothing else, meaning he has a versatility problem, while Aoki has a better array of techniques.

Anyway, I still think that Saito would won in the end, because as kenshin once said "If beating the gatotsu was enough to beat Saito, I would have already done it a long time ago".
