After a few minutes I tried again and got in. Yesterday was the big game update, so there was a period of extended downtime.

You know, no matter what everyone else says of you, I don't mind you

Combat Rating / Item Level! These are two statistics that have existed under the hood that we are now making public! Each item has an “Item Level” that roughly indicates the power of the item. When worn together, your “Combat Rating” is a measure of your total effectiveness in combat and is based on the weighted average of the best equipment you own per slot. This means your Combat Rating improves as you earn better gear. Players can find their Combat Rating under the Stats section in their Inventory. The tougher Hard Mode Alerts will now have a minimum Combat Rating that must be met before you can queue for them.
This is probably the most interesting change. I'll have to check out what I'm at when I log in next.
I've been talking (and thinking) about choosing a different weapon option and I still have no f'ing clue what I'm going to do.
Someone choose for me:
One-Handed
Staff
Martial Arts
Those are the one's I'm thinking about.

OH sucked imo. It is fast but weak though.Staff is a long range melee weapon. Good damage and speed. MA has great combos, kind of weak but you get to throw stuff like knifes, stars and is fast.
Try each one to see which one you like, but I like staff and MA.
The main reason I included one handed is because I was in a group for an alert with a one handed user who was tearing shit up. Granted s(he) was level 30 and I was like, 20, but still.
Think I'll do staff first. That's probably where I was leaning anyways.
MA has some easy combo's you can throw and to stun and has fast ranged attacks.
Staff doesn't have as effective ranged attacks has more sweeping attacks to hit multiple opponents.
I prefer MA for easy combo chaining.
I haven't used one handed yet.
As long as you can land combo's then choose that weapon since combo's = more power returned.
