That kind of sucks actually, I mean I guess it's only fair to the individual players, but I really was looking forward to destroying tekken fans, which can't happen if they're all off playing another game >_>

No, it doesnt kind of suck it's fawking ridiculous. How can we make more money and screw over the gamers? Oh, yeah lets make two versions of the same game
well.. what it seems like you're asking is that
while playing street fighter vs tekken, you want to fight someone who's playing tekken vs street fighter..
this would be like trying to network quake 3 and half-life deathmatch.. its just two completely different things
its not just two of the same game.. I'm sure when some footage is released youll see what I mean

Yeah but it is the same game. I know the excuse for releasing two versions is so that each game can be best represented in the crossover but thats just bullshit. It's a cheap and blatant marketing ploy to me. If it is in deed true that they couldnt figure out how to combine both styles in one game their just lazy and this is almost as bad as making people buy two versions of the same game. Each game better release at $30.
It's just a bad decision to me. It would be different if the main draw of these games weren't online multiplayer.

Yeah, but I think the purists would get in an uproar
New footage, yet still same characters:

Also, I think that video by Bro shows a little more than the typical footage on youtube.
