yeah, I forgot what chapter, but in it Shizuka lost her clumsy personality for a bit and was actually speaking pretty seriously.

Yea, but I'm sure that EMP thing kinda screwed any hope of that I believe. Though it would be kinda cool to have a hummer, filled with weapons in the back, and stuff. Or like a big SUV. Something big and America.

yeah, unless they could find a way to revive the car battery or something. Saya's a genius and Shizuka knows some things about cars so maybe they could find a way to start one up.

Well I guess that one thing that Saya's family gave them still ran didn't it? They might be able to find something that still runs. And a car that they can jerry-rig with Saya's genius, and all that.

I forgot if the car Saya's parents gave them was given to them before or after the EMP. if it was after, then I can't remember what happened to it. well, I'm writing a fanfic about HSTD so I'll probably remember as I look back at the chapters for my fic.

I'm pretty sure it was after. They gave it to them when they left, and they left after the EMP. Though what happened to it I forgot..

Takashi is probably the only one in the group other than Shizuka that can drive now that I think about it.

I wonder how Takashi learned to drive. He obviously doesn't have a license. Rei says as much when he takes the bike. And Shizuka would be the only one with a license so the others probably just not bothered with learning yet. Though I could see Saya saying she's a genius and can drive, while in the middle of driving extremely bad. But being rich she probably wouldn't never had needed to learn.

maybe Takashi stole motorcycles or cars for a bit or maybe his parents decided to teach him themselves before getting a license. I can't really see any of the others learning to drive except Saya like you said. however, it is likely that while she may not have needed to drive before, she'll probably be able to pick up the basics relatively fast.

I just hope we get to see some cool scenes coming up. They all got a gun upgrade, and that thing it showed at the end.

yeah, so far all the group has been doing is stocking up on things and there haven't been that many fighting scenes with Them now with the few brief ones in the police station. hopefully that J-alert at the end will lead to something more.

agreed. I hope the author picks up on the action pace a bit in the next chapter because the wait really kills any suspense I feel when I read the chapter. hopefully he'll be able to establish a more steady update schedule.

I can't believe I haven't seen this series sooner. Highschool of the Dead has became part of my Favorite Anime List right next to Bleach. So far I've seen seven episodes in a row. I like what I'm seeing and there sure are a bunch of WTF moments. Still confused as to why in episode 7, that guy stabbed the other right in front of his little girl. That was just plain messed up and depressing. I actually wished the zombies barged into his house and gave some undead justice on him.

My favorite character is Saeko because who doesn't like badass women?

Everyone likes Seako because she's the stand out wish fufillment badass heroine who can beat anyone except the main lead. But she's not my favorite, tsundere chan is.

oh wow, I thought people would stop posting on this thread. yeah, that scene with the guy dying in front of his daughter is really messed up, but you'll get over it rather quickly as the plot moves along. just be warned that if you start reading the manga, you're in for a long wait for the next chapter to come out.

and aside from Saeko, the other girl that I find cool is Saya, after all she is a 'genius'.

Sad to see the anime is over already though....Hopefully there is another season and it isn't canceled.

well, up close Saeko would probably beat Takashi. sure, she has some serious technique with a sword, but out of the group Takashi is the 2nd best fighter although he doesn't have as much finesse. on second thought, she would kick Takashi's butt around.

yeah, sucks the anime is already over, but I think there will be a second season, it just won't be very long. and chances are they'll wait until the manga gets a bit further and we all know that'll take FOREVER at this rate.

okay wow, the 28th chapter finally came out and a lot actually happened this time. it was actually a damn good chapter. too bad the ending kinda ruined it (my opinion of course).
