Wolverine, of course, especially in his early still at reasonable power levels John Wayne days.

Namor, since it was great to see Marvel's first mutant finally on the team.
Maggot, he was such a Doom Patrol-esque character.
Beast, though he should have stayed an Avenger.

Magneto for all of his nuances and shades of grey: he’s a fully fleshed out character that’s relatable. Xavier because he is the perfect fool for Erik’s conquest. Nate Grey because he’s an Omega level powerhouse.

And of course Logan because he’s the best at what he does.
