I agree. I believe at one point, he stated that he was trying to find out his (Reigo's) plans. Beating him up a bit falls within his idea of getting information from him, of course.

So only two characters have the title "invincible". However, people that fight without weapons are supposed to be half as strong as those with weapons, overall...or something like that.

I don't think Hayato is going to die, anymore. I thought about it and there is too much stuff left unresolved between his son, Kenichi, and Miu. Once that is done, we can get some death from Hayato.

That's just your (our) perspective. However, we don't see the skin-tight attire from the males in this manga as being fan-service. Others might. For instance, Kenichi and the 100-Dan Brawler had their shirts off. 😐 This did not dawn on me until reading some of the stuff from Nemebro: we are blind to the fanservice for the gals. 😐

Am I the only one that still thinks its silly seeing two men run on water after each other. It's probably just me.

Also I'm proud of the author for not putting half naked chicks in skin-tight outfits during this chapter. It definitely won't last though. I am impressed with the new sword master. Hopefully this arc with de-throne Shigure as the invincible weapon master especially after introducing Reigo and Yokio.

I'm just still amazed that after all these chapter we finally see master class weapons experts aside from Shigure. whether or not this Yukio guy is the weapons version of Hayato has yet to be seen, but at any rate, he should be stronger than Raigo, who even now still surprised me by how he last a whole damn chapter against Hayato without getting hit.

well as for the shirtless guys, I'd assume now the author is gonna try to appeal to the female fanbase for a few chapters...

wow. while it looks like the author was once again unable to resist fanservice, this chapter was pretty good in a way. for Hayato to be battling it out for a week... this Gensuke guy is no damn joke. and Kenichi's feeling is definitely spot on after the near ending of this chapter. anyone else think that Ryozanpaku is going to end up in a royally screwed situation?

One is underage while the other isn't? Best guess I got.

But this new guy is pretty cool. Keeping Hayato busy for a week is pretty damn impressive. And he doesn't even seem to be aiming to kill. Clever tactic.

I do love it when manga do the whole "battled for days" thing though. Mostly because no fight we read will actually last that long in universe. Here it is okay though since we really aren't focusing on the fight.

In this case, they are fighting so long because it seems neither wants to harm the other to death.

Also, that guy's swords should be extremely dull, by now.

Well it's nice to have someone finally de-throne Ms. Weapon Prodigy. Speaking of which I find it hilarious how the mangaka starts the chapter off with Shigure nipple almost like he's apologizing for not having fanservice last chapter. Wonder if that swordsman is using that dull-weapon tech that Shigure loves to use for fanservice purposes: which would explain why he's still able to use his swords effectively.

true that. still, seemingly dull weapon or not, this guy is keeping Hayato quite occupied. the fact that they're fighting even while scrounging around for things to eat says a lot. but I gotta wonder.... if they've been fighting for a week, and they still fight while eating, do they still keep on fighting even if they gotta do something else like take a piss? because fighting for a whole week with just eating small things on the side seems really out of it, even for this series....

looks like Kenichi may be a padawan in that case. and the disturbance in the Force is definitely a major one with the Nine Fists and the Executioner Blade group now meeting up.

They implement their piss and shit into their martial arts by using them as deadly weapons.

.... you know, considering how crazy a number of the martial artists are in this series, that's probably likely...

Well what I got out of this chapter is that Big Lock is useless against Elite Master Class fighters...which we kind of knew already. Also Yami demonstrates its influence again with making the police their bodyguards of sort.

Then there's Miu's "bulletproof" leotard fanservice. Kind of miss pervy mask now.

Boring chapter.

Oh no the police, which are useless in this series, are against the good guys. How dreadful. Other than Gaider and his apprentice meeting up we didn't really learn anything new with the Big Lock scenes except that they're way more incompetent than previously though.

Well the whole police thing was to demonstrate influence we already knew Yami had I guess.

Really wish Kenichi's "disturbance in the Force" would come through already.

So....Gaider and Diego can literally just walk out of Big Lock with nobody noticing. You know considering that this jail is supposed to house Superhumans, you'd think they would try at least gassing the prisoners or having motion sensor...or something that's actually practical for holding guys that can play dodgeball in machine gun fire other than its location..

What gets me is the ****er watching them do it! Hey dumbass these guys are in here for a reason! One wanted to blow up an entire cruise liner for entertainment and the other was going to massacre an entire class of high school kids! You don't just let these guys walk out! It doesn't matter if you personally can do anything to physically stop them! If you feel overwhelmed then just ****ing TELL SOMEONE!

I mean my god how stupid can a mook be? 😬

Speaking of which is it amazing that there isn't a single master class guard there. I mean if this were a jail for Expert class fighters then it would be something but this is ridiculous. An there aren't any tanks there either. But if these guys can't even get gas or motion sensors or competent guards, then I doubt someone going to tell people that they can't stop superhuman criminals.

The only threat they have from Big Lock is the terrain itself.

yeah. a big shame really. I honestly expected more of Big Lock. but I'll be willing to give it just one more slight chance if it can prove to me to at least have some thing that would have worked had their prisoners not been elite master class fighters.

as for the Nine Fists, since they're making a public appearance and Ryozanpaku is gonna get involved, wouldn't that mean that Miu will finally see her father for the first time ever?

Lot of build up in this chapter but it ended at an awkward spot.

Really should just give Takeda's master a call in this situation so the numbers aren't quite so badly skewed in the bad guys favor.
