Hellboy versus Venom...

Hellboy takes on Venom on the rooftops of Hell's Kitchen, at night, where Daredevil fought Elektra.

Venom is obviously in full symbiote form.

Hellboy has access to all his weapons except for Big Baby. He also has the short blade he used against Nuada.

If Hellboy without Big Baby is too much of a disadvantage, feel free to say so and we can add it to his weaponry.

As much as I hate Spider-man 3 venom I think he wins, Hellboy's bullets won't do anything to his symbiote suit, and with his speed/power/webbing he should be able to disarm hellboy, the only chance hellboy would really have that I can think of would be taking advantage of the metal in his surroundings, I'm sure he could create some noise pounding his big ol' fist against some pipes, enough to disorient venom and blow eddie away with one of his guns, however if he doesn't know this is a possibility then I'd give it to Venom 8/10

Venom pounds on hellboy for a while but eventually gets beaten. Venoms weakness is too idiotic and would be figured out eventually (I'm guessing)

Hellboy is pretty damn durable, especially for spiderman 3's venom.

3:10 for venom, 7:10 for hellboy. Its a tough call, but this is depending on if he finds out venoms weakness. Could go either way. But yeah, hellboy is hella durable.

Venom has too obvious a weakness: sonics.

Hellboy would, eventually, deduce this and use it to his advantage.

Venom has agility and speed in spades here, but Hellboy has the experience and strength to do h2h combat. "That 70's Venom" was just a rookie in SM 3.

I have no idea how Hellboy is going to deduce the sonic weakness, unless he specifically makes a high-pitched/powerful sound first.

Question is, why would Hellboy just do this in the first place?

Hellboy hits Venom in the chest with a big baby round. Result?

Hellboy would figure out Venoms weakness to high frequency sound, eventually. I say this only because it took such a small example and relatively low frequency of sound for Venom to show his tell, in Spiderman 3.

yeah, for sure, but simba from the Lion King would be screwed.

So Hellboy is pretty much fighting a whole heap of liquid ooze...ok then

Where DD fought Elektra...I saw no bells or ways of making sonic noises or...whatever...so I think Venom, unless there were some poles on the rooftops that HB could use that I dunno about...😬 Or if HB had some way of making flames

I went back and watched the video for that fight scene, there are a few metal pipes on the top of the roof, and ladders and what not on the side of the building, but all the metal was stuff that they'd have to go out of their way to hit, and if it hadn't been for spidey's speed there was no way he could've contained Venom. Frankly even if Hellboy finds out Venom's weakness I think he'll be beaten down pretty bad by then, enough so that he'll be slower than usual and he won't be able to contain and defeat Venom like Spidey did. Given it'll be a long fight, and if Venom does slip up there's a high chance that Hellboy will be able to capitalize upon it.

It was the bell and how close Peter got to it.

Unless they fight close to a tower-bell or crash into lots of metal piping, I don't see Hellboy just figuring out the sonic weakness. Both those scenarios are unlikely.

seriously though how smart is hellboy and how exactly did he use those smarts in his movies
