Which would be a more impossible task?

- Convince Superman to kill Lois with his heat vision to save humanity

or

- Convince Dr. Doom to sacrifice his life to save humanity

The first by far.

The idea that he was ultimately the savior of humanity and not Reed Richards would appeal to Doom's almighty Ego. I can actually see Doom sacrificing himself for selfish reasons like that.

Yep, and doom isn't all evil either.

Re: Re: Re: Which would be a more impossible task?

well, according to Iron Man, sacrifice is not even in Doom's vocabulary.

the concept is foreign to him.

He also has too much of an ego to willingly die. For what good is existence of humanity, if there is no Dr. Doom to rule them?!

I say convincing superman if it is to save humanity.

I mean a reed from an alternate universe said that doom will never halt, never cease till he is the ruler(or something along those lines).

Darkseid. After his true love Suli was murdered he underwent a ritual that purged any good from his soul, making him the perfect candidate to wield the Omega Effect. Only someone devoid of any trace of decency can wield it, even Desaad couldn't handle it's horrors.

I'd say death-obsessed omnicidal cosmic threats are pretty evil.

Mephisto fits the bill of "true" evil out of the three of them the best though.

Calling him a honky racist isn't going to get the job done.
