Just starting to get into Comics

What are some ideal comics of Batman that are a must have and are great to read.

So far I have:

The Long Halloween
The Resurrection of Ras Al Ghul
Year One
No Man's Land Vol. 1&2(Looking for the rest)

Batman: The Man Who Laughs
First canon appearance of Joker

Batman: Hush
Tremendous story with breathtaking art from Jim Lee

Batman: Knightfall
One of the best stories in Batman history

Batman: Dark Victory
Long Halloween's sequel and the first appearance of Robin

Batman: Year 2 and 3 as well

Always start with Year One.

Heads up....if you venture into DC be prepare for a TON of comics to be read. It's not easy and hard to know who is who.

Death in the Family and the Red Hood stuff would be another recommendation.

Then what would be a good chronological order to start from?

I just finished Year One...I really enjoyed it.

agreed year one is very goood

All Star Batman and Robin(if you want to laugh).

Any of the JLA trades written by Grant Morrison or Mark Waid.

Also, read the first trade of "Hitman", which has a really cool/funny subplot with Batman(and if you want to follow up on it, read the JLA/Hitman crossover comics that came out a few years ago).

"Whatever Happened To The Caped Crusader?" by Neil Gaiman is interesting.

Try some obscure trades if you want to find some hidden gems.
