I already got someone

Well we are all anxiously awaiting their decision.

Ok, before I judge may I ask if any or if all of those posts were planned between the two or did you both learn about each post after they were posted? This will greatly affect my judgment so answer honestly.

Not at all.

I actually found his character pretty easy to play along with since his character is inspired by "Naruto". Therefore, I would alter his posts and play along as if the tricks that were based on the anime series. Plus, I am familiar with the character since having encountered him in my other RP. The way he controlled the character? Far too obvious, making my job easier as a Psionic fighter and being able to use the teleportation ability wisely. So I just guessed and ended up being correct.

None of this was planned. At all...But I will tell you I personally know Regelion so I used the information he has told me in the past to my advantage.

So you took advantage of OOC knowledge your character had no actual way of knowing, in the manner that he could predict Regelion in a way he normally wouldn't, tilting the fight in your favor?

I'm inclined to disapprove with your methods, although I suppose we all roleplay differently. I'm a little more restrictive about what my character would know, but each to their own style.

Good thing I'm no judge 😛 This knowledge would've had me fell Donny because of metagaming.

Everything I am about to say is constructive criticism, not bashing or insulting anyone or anyone's characters.

Well this was a hard match for me to judge. Both personalities seemed to be bland and the same, or at least that's what I saw when they fought. It was like DMC3 Dante vs DMC3 Dante. I felt that both fighters were trying to be flashy and use stunts for no reason instead of using practicality. I found out that none of that was planned and forcing hits on someone is a form of God Modding, but you both did that so there would be no point in basing the winner off of that. I understand that Donny is a telepath and all but I was reading that he knew everything Deathstar would do even before Deathstar did it. Those posts said he knew what he was going to do next.

Once again I understand Donny is a telepath and he's either one of the greatest telepaths ever or Deathstar has no mental resistance because he was able to easily handle and predict what he would do.

Another thing I want to say to everyone, healing yourself of all of your wounds in battle doesn't make you look cooler nor does it change the fact that you took damage and got slapped around a bit, healing just means that you lack the endurance to keep fighting on while harmed. You're a fighter, wear your scars with pride and keep on fighting.

Donny had the advantage most of the time from what I read, although he meta gamed to do most of this. Jacope's posts were more clear and concise and all around better in my opinion.

Deathstar seemed to be a cliche one upper. Every time he posted he had another ultimate move, another trick that was one of his most deadliest moves, Donny remained more consistent to me whereas Deathstar had a secret counter for everything he did.

Deathstar seemed to be like nothing more than a Naruto Filler character whereas Donny was way more original.

All in all I'd say that the victor of this battle lies on whether or not Hitosu has a rule against Meta Gaming. If Meta Gaming is alright with Hitosu then I'd give it to Donny, if he's against it then I figure he should be disqualified and Deathstar should be the winner. I was ready to give it to Donny after reading it all but I'm stuck until Hitosu makes a decision on Meta Gaming.

EDIT: I know I said they were both flashy, but I want everyone participating to know that flashy movements and "cool" stunts don't get anywhwere or any point when I'm judging. If you have time to get in your opponent's face, smile and call him pretty boy then you have time to attack him, time to hit him. You could've hit him instead of flirting with him. Those few seconds you spoke to him could have caught him off guard and gave you a solid hit. Don't flip around, do your neighbor's taxes, deliver your grandma's baby and file for divorce while trying to attack your opponent. Keep your movements simple and make only necessary movements. Don't back flip away from some one or flip towards them because that is time that your eyes are off of your opponent.

I agree with most of what he say. You guys gotta admit, it was very cliche. 😛

Them using God moding and meta gaming doesn't surprise me though. I knew most of the posters here would do that. Especially since most people here think there's actually something to win here 🤣

In all fairness, there is an enlargement of E-Peen at stake here.

To be honest, I had to do what I had to do.

I accept your judgment and I am not going to deny anything you have said there, Wei. But i'm going to tell you now that I wanted a hand to hand battle. I really did not want to fight defensive with tricks and whatnot. If Deathstar (Regelion) were to quit the long distant attacks, there could have been a bit more credibility to this battle. And the decisions to every attack or purpose were not only too obvious, but getting very bland and repetitive to the point where I found no effort to any of his posts. therefore, there was no coordination and I just played along. I even carried his posts and added credibility to them by tricking myself intentionally with a clone/substitution. I also kept putting damage on myself just to be considerate and at least fall for the guy for once since most of his attacks were just...well...obvious and effortless.

I Kept RPing how I usually do (Anyone who has RPed with me for years can even tell you that such as MadMel and Venomancer). I don't even know what Meta gaming is as I would like someone to define it for me. God modding? GTFO of here with that. 🙄

Donny just does not feel external pain. That's his secret ability...Exposing that small definition will only give his opponents an advantage/idea to getting into battle with Donny.

I really don't care if Donny wins or lose...that mind set was maintained since I first entered the character into the tournament. I am more worried about Adrian.

Metagaming is a broad term usually used to define any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends the virtual universe, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game.

In simple terms, using out-of-game information, or resources to affect one's in-game decisions.

So in short it's what you confessed to doing.

For knowing the guy personally, and always talking to him about his character? Well, it's much more believable for Donny to possess knowledge of his future actions as a telepath who can predict ahead accurately. Am I right?

I'm much more worried about my future battles with other characters, therefore having a hard time pulling off this role. As I said, the posts were effortless and repetitive. I had nothing much to prove myself with as I wanted a close range physical battle, but regelion chose a battle with mirror tricks and illusions.

And it's funny how I have to take a stand for my posts....after five years of RPing, I have never had anyone question me this way. Ever. Why now? -_-

I understand what you're saying, I've stated how you were more original and I found him to be the better of the two. The only reason why Deathstar may win is because of the meta game and that's it, he will be winning because of a mistake on your part. I'm not looking down on you or saying this is your fault, I don't know if you were fully aware of what you were doing or not so it is not my place to speak about your full intentions but the problem is still there regardless.

Yes there was god modding on both of your parts. Forcing someone to take a hit is considered God Modding unless you had their permission to hit them. It's as if me and Ms. Q'Anilia were fighting and I have Nakoma appear in front of her and slap her with the slap connecting before she is able to post and react or without her consent. I GM'd her and forced her to take a hit. I'm not saying dodge every hit or take every hit. You know your character's speed and reflexes, stay true and as unbiased as possible and decide if that attack would land or not. Ms. Q'Anilia explained Meta Gaming so I'll move on.

I didn't mind Donny's high tolerance for pain at all since it really didn't make a difference to my judgment at all. I was basing the winner off of who felt the most pain, I was mainly talking about Deathstar and healing himself after all of that. He said he didn't want to heal himself until later on but did it in the next sentence and punching you in the side but I digress.

I personally saw a few things Donny could've done to easily hindered or disabled Deathstar as well.

I've been roleplaying longer than you and I'm still susceptible to be questioned about a post, I'm still willing and able to defend an action or post.

Why am I questioning you this way now and not in your five year career of roleplaying? Simple because I've never been asked to judge your posts or roleplays until now.
