The Clerics were a much bigger deal and more feared(similar to the Agent programs in the Matrix) but the Fraternity veterans had better ability with guns due to curving alone.

The Clerics were more disciplined, better H2H combatants, etc.

The Butcher would take half the clerics out as they enter the meat locker.
