What amazed me was the news headlines today (BBC) "It has been reported that a few of the miners trapped in a mine in Chille are depressed" WTF do they expect !!!!

The poor sods could be stuck down there for 4 months, and even then it could still go wrong. This would be a nightmare for me, I don´t like closed spaces and being bored so I´d have to have some weed sent down that hole for me to keep me calm.

Why don´t they make that "small" hole that has been drilled to send them supplies, a bit bigger and pull them up through it?

Be nice if they were out for Xmas eh.

I believe they are drilling a bigger hole right now to pull them out. Apparently they have to have a waist line of no more than 35 inches.

They are worried of that partly, I think. I mean it's a delicate situation, they could probably get down there faster, but they have to make sure not to squish them....😐
