3D like it or hate it?

I chose "Undecided," but a better option would have been "Depends on the movie." For certain movies it is great (aka Avatar), but for most movies it just seems completely unnecessary (so glad they already said no 3D for the next Batman film). I'd say that it is unnecessary for about 80% of the movies that are released in 3D.

I don't mind it depending on the film.

3D money shots?

All these 3D porn males, don't you have girlfriends/wives to play with... 😛

I choose hate because they are so many of them.I liked it better when only certain movies were 3D not every movie that comes out it is so boring and annoying to have to wear those glassses the whole time.

But you don't... see the 2D version. Unless you have a crap cinema that doesn't offer them.

🍺 I chose ''Hate it'' because the only movie I have seen where I could fully appreciate the 3D was Avatar

Hate it? but you stick up for it in the horror section...

🙄 Not Really,I still Do think Piranah 3D does make a fun cinema experience,Yes,For some movies it can improve the enjoyment, problem I have with 3D is that when you watch them at home in 2D the parts that are purposely made for 3D look stupid, which I dont like as I am mainly a home veiwer,So yes, there has been times where 3D has done a movie Justice, but all in all,I would still prefer no 3D

🙂 Please Dont make me explain it all again

Well then you don't hate it... should have chosen undecided. 😛

I don't think the cinema where I go does not offer that.It does not sound famiilar.

I don't like it generally, I prefer to watch my movies in 2D. I could imagine that it could be good, but even Avatar I really kinda wish I had watched in 2D instead, so I have not yet seen a movie I think benefited artistically from being 3D. For many it seems to be an easy way to make extra money with a bit of shitty preproduction, rather than a conscious artistic choice.

Not hate, but 3D is annoying me. It hurts my head after a while, and to be honest doesn't really do much for me experience-wise. So what if the picture is a little closer? Most films don't even use it properly.

😬 No,Basically I do Hate it,With Avatar I make an exception.

Yes of course you do...

I chose undecided. It really doesn't add anything for me. Nor does it take much away and in certain films it can work well.

🙄 Are you suggesting I am jumping on some kind of bandwagon by that comment?

😐 Because I'm not,I actually enjoy looking for a reason to go against one

🍺 The truth is,Avatar really is a visual masterpiece and the first time myself and well, everyone has ever seen 3D pulled of like that and show what it is actually capable off. In saying that though,it also makes all these other ''3D'' movies really stand out and just look bad in comparison

I hate 3D 99% of the time.

The only movie I truly enjoyed in 3D was How to Train Your Dragon. Avatar was adequate but still not worth the extra 3-5 bucks imo.

Add to the this the fact that the majority of 3D releases nowadays are post-conversions aka guaranteed shit.

Are you suggesting I am jumping on some kind of bandwagon by that comment?

Not at all. I just said you don't hate 3D really, if you liked it in Avatar, and it improved your enjoyment of Piranha 3D, you really can't say you HATEEEEEEEEE it.

Hate is a powerful word and gets misused a lot and this person should even hate Avatar and all 3D movies. Instead its better to say I cant stand 3D.

3D is alright... I don't like that it's still a gimmick... Where someone will randomly throw a boomerang towards the screen and shit like that, only for the 3D. In time people won't even consider it a big deal.
