STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- The Council of Taneshla

Geful nods and returns to overseeing the clean-up of his manor.

With that, your time on Taneshla is indeed over. Though you come here again a few times in the month following, you mainly keep in touch with Geful via hologram. He sends you a steady flow of jobs, things that don't take long and stay within your moral boundaries. You still find yourself doing things you would not have as a Jedi. Mainly offing small-time criminals that are stepping on the Empire's toes or rounding up traitors or other such jobs that require your particular skills.

Geful has a pilot droid ferry you around on a small needle-shaped vessel. The droid does not communicate verbally, but follows every order.

You manage to purchase an apartment on one of the nicer Rim planets. No sign of Rand or Tanic or Myraline or Calthell. Nobody disturbs you unless Geful needs you to do something.

Rianna finds those things mildly distasteful but as they're nothing major, she goes along with it. The privacy is also quite nice.

Though I'm sure it doesn't take Rianna long to start getting restless again.

Indeed, it does not. It slightly worries you that the Order hasn't found you yet, or that Rand hasn't tried contacting you.

Geful does have another job for you, though. You can tell something in wrong; even during the Rand ordeal on Taneshla when his home was being destroyed, Geful remained pretty composed. Now his hologram shows him being nervous and agitated as he messages you in your apartment.

That is definitely unusual.

"What's wrong?" she asks when he messages her.

"There is a problem," Geful says, simply.

"I'm guessing a pretty large one...what is this problem?"

"Remember the debate over Borm? Andhow I had him executed?"

"The Dark Jedi with a regenerative constitution? Oh no, I think I know where this is going..."

"Yes. The execution did not go as planned... they thought they had killed him and were proven wrong. We've lost contact with the facility he was kept in."

"And I'm going to assume that you want me to go investigate."

"I want more than that," Geful says. "I want his head. Nothing can kill him. The execution went ahead but he resisted all attempts."

"You want me to kill someone who has so far been seen to be unkillable," Rianna states. "Hoping that he is not immune to having his head removed by a lightsaber, then?"

"Lightsabers are incredibly powerful," Geful says. "I have a feeling your skills will be enough."

"Where was he last?"

"Where he has been. Our holding facility on the cruiser Dreamless Sleeper. I can send you the coordinates to input into RX-14. It is a large cargo ship that has been converted into a prison. It has no engines, so anyone onboard is trapped there, even the guards. I fully expect that monster to have killed everyone onboard."

"So at least he can't actually escape," Rianna replies. "I'll head there as soon as you send the coordinates."

She pauses for a moment before saying something else. "Did Tanic know the location of the facility? Rand had been interested in Borm..."

"He did," Geful says. "But the sensors have not indicated any forced entry. We'd know."

"If they do pick up anything between now and my arrival, I'd like to know immediately," Rianna says. "I'd also like a layout of the facility, if you have one available, so that I can get an idea of what I'll be searching through, and where he may be hiding. As soon as I have that and the coordinates, I'll be off."

The layout is simple- the bridge at the front of the ship, living quarters for staff nearby, and then the rest is cells.

Geful is also sending two of Slate's hitmen with you.

Rianna's ready to go, then, I believe...
