If you've never read the manga or seen the anime, Kenichi is basically a weakling who gets picked on all the time, and goes to this dojo to learn some self defense. But he gets more then he bargained for, with five masters obsessed with turning someone with no talent into the strongest fighter ever.
The masters are pretty epically strong, capable of outrunning cars and trucks on foot, or tearing up tanks with their bare hands. Elder is the leader of the five masters, and much stronger then either of them, actually running across the ocean on foot and taking on modern style warships with his bare hands.
The thing is, based on what we've actually seen of Elder, I'm not sure if he could hurt Kenshiro.. In the movie, didn't even notice when a skyscraper fell on his head, and just kept walking.
And while that's not something that happened in the manga, the kinds of damage he's endured and opponents he's fought supports he's probably capable of doing so...
Hmmm...if this was his uncle from Souten no Ken I might understand but in my opinion even that would be seriously stretching it (then again I am kinda fond of him, with his chain smoking and mullet it kinda reminds me of if Solid Snake knew Hokuto Shinken)...This Kenshiro though I don't see how The Elder could take it especially as mentioned earlier if Kenshiro uses Musou Tensei O.O
