The problem with the Wrecker and his crew is that they can't take on feral guys. They have no business fighting someone like Wendigo, and thus would be devoured one by one. They can fight guys that reason with them, but Wendigo would bust out of the gate and probably take the weaker members of the Crew out quickly.
