It should be interesting seeing how Colossus tries to get out of the hole he dug for himself. It seems like he really didn't understand the level of effort that went into a tourney and that he only spent five minutes coming up with a strategy.

Things would be different if I were using him.Namely, he wouldn't have such useless teammates, and I would have actually done something worthwhile in prep.
there is a "what-if" about wolverine becomming the horseman Death and being insanely powerful... I couldn't imagine any other reason for choosing him...
big-c's blasé OP convinces me that his plan works, he tells you how it is.
apocalypse morphs, red attaches teh deathspores...and only if he's needed after that onslaught, logan decapitates. like, wolverine can just chill, but if he has to, he'll coup de grace blair's entire team no matter who he drafts or what his plan was.
^ ironclad argument.
I'm interested to see what he comes up with as a counter. I didn't do as much as i could have for prep and was able to at least make counterpoint, but it did put me at a huge disadvantage having to argue around existere's prep (who knows, it might ultimately cost me the match).
blair's prep was good, not invincible though, so it will be up hill to say the least, but hey, everyone loves an underdog
Wolverine did become a horseman. I'm kinda surprise he didn't use Apoc. Celestial tech. Teleleportation would be pretty handy++ I seemed to remember his most powerful horseman he can summon at will. Armageddon I think was the name. Anyhow well see what happens, he might have something up his sleeve.
Generally not, but if you could make a good case for it, I think the judges would allow it.
For instance, pretend I had selected Man-Thing:
There is a What if Man-Thing had retained Ted Sallis' mind, where instead of becomming a mindless monster, Man-Thing remains super smart, and is seen to have almost total control over the swamp and all life-forms in it. However, since in continuity, even Dr. Strange and other scientists have been unable to return Man-Thing to that level of intelligence or been able to restore Sallis' mind, there is no way that I could argue that this shows a potential power that Man-Thing might use in a tournament.
If I had selected Man-Thing and Plantman, and there was a What if comic directly related to "What if Plantman took over Man-Thing's mind", though not in continuity, as long as the characters are treated the same as they are in canon, I could at least argue that the non-canon appearance represents what would happen in canon, especially if it is relation to powers and not story. So, if in the "what if" issue, Plant man took over Man-thing, and was thus able to control "magic plants" or tap into Man-Thing's "Mystic forces", I could probably argue that this power was available to them, though if Plantman did this and restored Sallis, this would not be useable, as it directly refutes canon.
EDIT: imho, others might disagree, I'd still have to consider it as less meaningful evidence than canon scans.
EDIT2: so, "probably" to Death-verine, no to AOA showings.
you did good, but it seems like you gave up after 2 or 3 posts. I know a lot of fights get really boring, with pages of people basically saying "I KO'd you", "no you didn't", "yes I did"... but there was still a huge array of options available to you for most of Gundam's attacks. You have Dr. 'efing' Doom, the king of versatility.
The only reason Gundam would get a W at this point is that you did little to make it seem like you were fighting back. Hes had you playing catch up the whole match, and you never really made a counterattack.
also, don't ask things like "couldn't doom's magic counter that", or say things like "the best I can hope for", argue that the best you could hope for IS what happens. For instance: "Doom was strong enough to potentially be the Sorcerer Supreme, he disrupts the magic with his own" or "Doom's shields are more than enough to hold against that attack". The point of these isn't to look like you are able to see the logic of your oponent's posts, but to argue in such a way that your logic seems better than theirs. Any good debater can make it seem like their arguments are good, and by "conceiding" all the points Gundam makes, you essentially let him set the pace of the match, and it is impossible to win in that case.
my 2 cents at least
