I vote to let Gundam, Charlotte, and Starscream in - being that all have expressed interest in joining. However, none of them get secret picks since as of now none of us have secret picks. I'd also give them a one loss record, as long as they can still have a chance of winning in the end (I havent run the numbers, but seeing as round one has already passed, it only seems fair).

edit: I'm also for finishing this up as soon as possible if you want to go that route. We could designate a coach to Colossus (someone like Digi who has no excuse to not help....he doesnt have a baby after all 😛 ) and hope that helps?

if we are worried about colossus, to the point of possibly giving him (essentially) a partner, why not let him draft 2 replacements with a little "coaching" as well?

I just think, anything we do with his team "as-is", is going to result in the same outcome. I can totally understand why this wouldn't be cool though, rules is rules and all that 🙂

blair's idea is also good. I think its really just your call KK, if we end this quick or not.

You are free to join, however. I'll try and grab Charlotte and if things go well I can pair you two up, have Smurph will post prep, and we can do this with six contestants like we originally were.

Depends on who you select and how well the respect thread is done, but as a general statement, yes. As long as you have a knowledge of the context of certain feats (so the lack of knowledge doesn't bite you in the ass) you should be just fine.

depends on the character too. A magic caster, or someone like Iron Man or Doom, have huge amounts of versatility that just high end feets and knowledge of the powerset wouldn't cover. imho, i suppose, I am a noob 😉

ok...thats always been the reason holding me back. Obviously relying on a respect thread will have its limits, but Im glad you guys think it would be workable.

Depending on when it is i'd be intrested in joining. But if you already have an even number of people i'll sit this one out. Not really in any rush.
