ok.. first of all.. i lawed hardxcore at the plane of suck. i bought the first volume of looking for group, its EPIC.
second of all, i think phoenix's char jade is kind of dying/dead (no hope of rescue) so i dont think a save would work for her.. and even if it was possible, its jades realm.. if anyone can do it, it'd be her..
third.. it seems that theres really only xanatos, pryce, bennu, and eric in RP that even know about tobias at this point. even ben really only knows that a power was unleashed. and anyone else would have no idea where it came from.. so if theres a rescue thingy gunna be planned to spring my char frm the plane of suck, the best bet would be via linking up with xanatos and pryce. both to get the explination of "yeah, that was a person tha did that" and "no, its not his fault.. he cant control it.."

ok...wow. ive been gone for four days and chaous erupts. first and and foremost, Hitosu and Phoenix, your characters are approved. i also like the idea of another GO at the school.now to the hard stuff:
while it is true that i did start this particular RP, it IS also true that the is the UNHOSTED section. i have stated that i would prefer that any ideas be sent to me via PM, but i have also stated that this RP wouldnt work if you guys didnt give it your own spin.
i do have a plan for this and that was the whole purpose of me placing an idea in the Idea Thread. it was approved and most of you signed up for it. when i posted that, i said that it would be ran a little like a HOSTED RP and USH approved it anyways.
but, as i just stated, i let you guys know that i didnt want to do this by myself. so i have no problem with anyone having any ideas because that would be stupid on my behalf. i just asked that you run it by me first and as long as it didnt infringe on the main plot it was a go.
now what im not understanding is whats the argument about. Phoenix, Venom and DB were only giving you some advice based off of their experience and what i said previously. it may not have came across in the right manner and i can see why youd get upset. to you it felt like they were ganging up on you and were trying to downplay your idea. for that, IM sorry because they were only going off of what i said.
DB and Shal, Phoenix is also right. this is the UNHOSTED section and everyone has a right to post whatever it is they want in any given RP so long as it goes along with the plot and isnt offensive in any way. i wasnt around so she couldnt PM me her idea so she posted anyways. i dont really know what to say to that other than what else could she do? we cant ignore it since other characters were involved and i dont really want to because it adds to the RP as a whole (eventhough i havent read through the RP yet) and thats exactley what im looking for.
but things would go a lot smoother if everyone could simply work together. i think the way this RP has been ran so far is ok but im bias. you guys tell me. i continually ask that you guys PM me with any comments, questions and concerns regarding any and everything that is on your mind.
to end all of this, i will say this; when i disappear, you guys need to use your best judgement as to what happens in the RP. Mel, Venom and EH can approve characters in my absence because they have been here longer that i have and have more experience than i do. but regarding the RP, think of how one situation affects everyone else. you may very well want to create another dimension or have a new villian pop up and cause utter discord. but there are other people in this and they all have ideas as well.
now i expect all the bickering to end and i need a recap. everything that has happened concerning Jade's actions is still in effect. Strike Force should continue with their mission because it is the TEACHERS and GOs job to keep the school in order. SF is meant for away missions and the Teachers are meant for school stuff and giant threat missions that SF cant handle by themselves.
that means that STRIKE FORCE should continue with their mission to New York and the TEACHERS and GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS should be dealing with the issues at the school. im only considering it an issue at the school because the Teachers are already treating it as such. keep in mind that i HAVE NOT read through the RP yet and im going off of what ive read in this Thread.
The next thing im gonna say is that I will post a new Thread up for a character list because there is a problem. I know I went over it time and time again but its been proven that some of you guys are still confused. Also, the powerset of certain characters is debatable and contradicts some of the feats that have been done. I want everyone to feel like they are given a fair shot in this with their characters abilities and not have to worry about others out doing them.
This has to come up. I cannot change what has already been done. I can only salvage the end results. If an event takes place and more than one character is involved but it goes against the grain, what can I do about it but try to make it work and then move on. I did that and I think that I did a fairly decent job in doing so. i don’t believe in downplaying a situation to suit others. No, I have to work with what ive got and if some of you don’t, cant or wont understand that, then that’s tough cookies. Ill do whats best for my RP.
And now on to the thing that started this whole mess. Phoenix, Jade has the ability of creating Electromagnetic waves if I understand correctly. I had to search back through the OOC. Another reason why ill make a Thread for characters. But how in the heck could a character with that power create vortexes that suck people into another dimension? I completely over looked that. You also controlled other peoples characters. I don’t know if you had there permission or not but for arguments sake, im going to assume you didn’t. Regardless of them being ok with it, you kinda left them no choice but to react to that. What if it was a person who didn’t want to get involved with something like that. And what about Matt’s character, Tobias. If you really did kill off Jade, why would you kidnap another person’s character and trap them in another dimension with no way out? And where’d the teleportation ability come from anyways? I read that you just appeared out of a portal in the sky and all of a sudden had a new power. That’s not gonna work.
I understand that you were just trying to give other characters something to do but you cannot control other people’s characters and create events out of nowhere. That could ultimately ruin the way things operate in an RP and give other people the wrong idea of what they can do. So what im gonna do is let all of that vortex stuff slide because I cleaned it up, but it will not happen again because that is not Jade’s power. To eliminate further speculation, your character Jade will remain with the one power that you described her to have, Electromagnetic wave creation. She has not teleportation skills whatsoever. You are also to ask others for their permission if you want to directly include them in something you have cooking and that is only after you ask me for the go ahead. That goes for everyone as well.
It has been brought to my attention that I am running things improperly and being too nice and tolerant and also unfair. Well I can nip all of that in the bud. I don’t think that it’s a good idea for any one to make a new character until everyone understands what a character should consist of. There are plenty of characters as it is now and some of them are rarely used in the RP. Also, I retract what I said about my absence. If I am gone and someone has an idea to run across me, they will just have to wait until I return to hear back from me. There are plenty of things to do at the school that should keep everyone entertained.
There is a recreational center with a full gym; a combat area that can be used at anytime so long as a Teacher or GO is present; there are various sports fields; the mall is near by as well as a small, quaint little town; and a bunch of other stuff. Not to mention you are at a school with all kinds of people. Try interacting with other characters or go to class or something. You all have my permission to use a NPC every once in a while. Hell, I have and Champ is doing so right now with her character Kaida and a teacher. So there really isn’t a reason why anyone should be just sitting around waiting for something to happen. This is a school. The whole basis of the RP is for students to learn about their powers. Not wait for something to attack them so they can fight back because if that were to happen, just about everyone with the exception of the Heroes and Strike Force would die regardless of what your powers are.
Now there is some debate about some of the characters and their powers. That will be handled and discussed in the new Character Thread that im going to create in a few. You can take all of your comments, questions and concerns over there regarding your characters as well as others. You will also be required to post your characters they way that they are portrayed in the RP and better explain them so others wont be as confused as they are now.
Now I want this thing to work and I want everyone to stay on board. But if you feel the need to leave, i cant make you stay and the RP will go on without you. You may very well not agree with what im saying now and I did say that you could PM me but no one did until something like this happened so that is why I have to say all of this. If you have a problem with the way this thing is being ran; if you have a problem with a character; if you have a problem with asking for permission from me in an UNHOSTED RP, please feel free to PM me or leave. Those are the only options you have. We all have to work together here people.
If more needs to be said, then ill say it. And until you give me the oaky that you read this post, there is to be NO POSTING IN THE RP. if you do post something, it will simply be ignored. Send me a private message that you have read and understand everything that I stated. Tell me that you don’t agree. Tell me youre leaving because im being unjust. But so long as everyone is on the same page.
Eh, all of that is my bad. I didn't know really that I was controlling other characters. I guess I was a bit overly hysterical and didn't notice half the stuff I did which again is my fault but I don't want to make a long post with the risk that nobody will read this so I'll keep it short. I'm sorry to everyone for going over bounds as seen, I'll keep myself back a bit.
Next part of this (I did just get back) so I had to read through all of this before making my post. As far as the whole thing with Jade and Tobias goes (unless something happened sense I left) Tobias was going to be released (though I did joke with Psy how I would just kill him lol). I knew that I went overboard a bit already with the whole destructive thing and then Tobias went and sent nightmares out to everyone and I had sent the new post as a way to stop it and try to make amends but it really didn't work so that whole thing just kind of blew up in my face. Well after two mistakes that was kind of it for me =\ I try to be a perfectionist; so two mistakes is a bit too much for me. So here was my new plan.
STEP 1: I wanted to create a new character so that I could continue. This one had no real abnormal powers so it would be more... a controlled basis.
STEP 2: Sense my previous character was a bit too much of a "status questionable", I figured it was too much for me to be able to control without wanting to go power-mad. So I let her go mad and pretty much disappear. =\ for the sake of the RP
STEP 3: Like I said, unless something happened already, I was going to release Tobias, I just wanted to have a little bit of fun with it. But I'll release him my next post (which hopefully will be done once I release my new character)
STEP 4: My New Character really just serves as an equalizer, still a bit questionable how I'll use her >.>
Now again, if anything has happened then just negate the affects of whatever it is. I'll read over the RP in a second (Though my eyes are blurry so anyone who wants to just recap it will be very much appreciated.)
EDIT: I forgot to add this, and I know it doesn't make a difference, but no I did not get the approval by the other characters to do it -_- that was also my fault sense I was going based on past RP's that I was in. So I guess I thought of their acceptance of it (their willingness to participate in that) as approval. But again I was wrong. Well, hopefully the step's I said will fix it on that part. Still want a recap on what's happened >>

dont make tobias' release too easy.... O_o..hes already sort of lost in the plane of suck... and pretty far from jade by now.. i suggest letting it play out for a bit.. O_o.. it gives good rp options to intro xanatos as a teacher, and ives tobias a baseline of people who know about him... (thus far being pryce, bennu and xanatos) [technically, i dont think jade eve knows who tobias is, as she was pretty much unconscious] so... yeah... i sort of like how things were going.. lets see what develops, shall we?
the way i see it.. if jade dies.. tobias is then stuck, until someone else can get him.. O_o.. else jades entire plan would have been entirely useless, if the whole realm was supported by her..

Phoenix, i appreciate you apologizing and owning up to your mistakes. thats how you learn as im sure you know.
i also said that everything remains the same as it is now, with the exception of Jade's "other" powers. everything that has happened so far is still in effect. i just had to clean it up. so your okay so long as you dont do anything so grandois again.
