Sam hesitated a bit before she let Gaku touch her but she relaxed a bit and let the dragoon left her up off her feet. Sam didn't like the feeling of being picked up but it was nice to feel the strong firm arms being around her and she felt a little smaller and a little more fragile and she figured it was alright as long as Gaku mind where he touched. They flew over the wall, it was still early enough for them to leave but she'd have to call Andrew or some one to tell them they were going to be late coming back tonight. They flew over to were the limo was and Gaku put Sam gently on the ground and she gasped in delight, "Wow a limo, I don't think I've ever rode in one," she said excitedly. As the two walked up an older man walked around the car and opened the door for them, it was just like in the movies, "Oh my, gosh! this is so awesome." she said climbing in the limo resisting the urge to press all the exciting looking buttons.

Aaron eyes met up with Lance’s once he stated he was her to apologize. His first emotion was doubt. He couldn’t see his father caring for him but after his explanation it was like a weight off his chest. His face even began to glow at the thought that Lance was proud of him and did love him. After hearing out Lance’s case he could see for one moment in time Rock was just a distraction in a sense but a good one. She was helping his father be the very thing he wanted. Without any words Aaron rushed toward his father with a tight hug. He looked over at Rock while pulling her into the hug also. Maybe this would be the start of the family he want. “ Wait….dad what about mom?”

We’ve tried for so long and I’m so happy to be having the child of the man I love but you know what this means.”Her mind thought about how displeased her father would be and how sad her mother would be from not making him understand this was their grandchild human or not. Her father had always been a fair man but when it came down to Ben and humans in general his judgment was clouded. While he did bless the two she always knew in her heart that was only tolerating Ben in hopes that Katt would open up her eyes and marry a feral.

Aaron slightly pulled back from Lance. “ Dad I think your selling ma short. She’s just as logical as smart and powerful. If she wanted you dead she could have done it by now. You just have to approach her right. She’s hurting. That’s all.” With a deep sigh he looked over toward the wall. “ No disrespect dad but if it was Bonnie would you have rushed over to talk if you guys where in the same situation?”
Katt placed her hand on top of Ben’s. “ I don’t really know. This has never happened. My family has held onto power since the high king of Yakata freed my people form being their slaves. That was thousands of years ago, but I know what I can tell you. This is our child. No feral warrior or feral magi or anything demon will hurt it or I will kill them myself.”
Andrew sighed to himself. He was listening to the whole drama take place from a side corridor. *When did this place become the home of retired soap operas?* he thought. He didn't care for such things. With Andrew and Jane, the drama had been settled a long time ago, when Jane had seemingly returned from the dead. They had been children then - Everyone had been. But now the old team was no more. Too much had happened. The heroes who had once saved the world put down their costumes, and instead were forced to teach the next generation. They all had responsibilities now.
As far as Andrew was concerned, these responsibilities far outweighed any family squabble. but perhaps he was over thinking things. Elementals, he noted, did seem to have a greater sense of discipline than other species of metahuman, despite their inborn bloodlust, of which only Andrew was excepted, due to his unique making. He finially shrugged and teleported back to his lab. There was no point in trying to call the group to order. They could sort out their own mess, while he attempted the business of teaching at a school.

Zero gave a smirk and began to jog so Vincent could keep up which he would still have to run to keep up. It was fun having someone to run with but still dwelled on what kinda trouble she could get into without getting the school in trouble or seeming like a child to the older teen so she waited for him to decide what they should do next so she just kept running enjoying her company.
Ben chuckled at Katt's comment. "Do you really think it would be a good idea for you to be involved in any fights right now? All that jumping and dodging, punching and kicking? That is not good for the baby. Besides, as your husband, it is my responsibility to take care of and protect you even though you are more than capable of doing that yourself." He got up to retrieve his phone. "I will handle anyone who threatens us."
He punched in some numbers as he spoke, "We need to set up an appointment with the nursing station. We need to find out how far along are you and how are you and the baby doing." The woman on the other end was a familiar voice. Ms. Lipowitz was the head of the healers before the man, whose name Ben could never remember, who was in charge now replaced her. She wasn't a super but she worked well with them.
"Ms. Lipowitz, it is Ben Mason. I am calling to set up an appointment for my wife, Katt. We just found out that we are going to have a baby and we want to make sure that everything is fine with the both of them and stuff like that." The woman expressed her congratulations and set something up for them later today. She would examine Katt herself. Once he was off the phone, asked Katt, "How'd you find out you were pregnant?"
Sam stood strong and resisted, she was a Strike Force member for crying out out, she had a certain image to uphold. "No, that's not what I was thinking at all..." she lied. The limo set out on its way and slow music started to play lowly, this made her even more nervous, she had never had time for boys and dates or slow mood music so this was new to her. 'what should I even be doing right now, we haven't said much and the silence is becoming noticeable.' she thought to herself. Sam thinks for a bit and finally comes up with something to talk about, "So the foccer game, it should be exciting right?" Sam thought about this game being a test to get into Strife Force or even to get noticed. "They had the same thing when I joined Hero High last year, but it had been a fighting tournament then but I wasn't able to join of course, being new and all." she said with a smile but drifted into thought again. 'but then how did I get involved in Strike Force, I didn't even participate in the tournament nor did I even ask to join...' she thought even harder to remember when she started being included as a Strike Force member, it seemed to happen so long ago but she remembered it was around the time when Pintar attacked.
'Yeah that had to be it, Ben, Katt, Rock, Hitosu , and I were there trapped in Pintar's mirror dimension. Maybe some how I caught Ben's eye and he had put me on Strike Force, but we almost all died in there and I wasn't that helpful at all so maybe not...' she gave a little sigh but then realized Gaku was still there and she had just stop talking suddenly, she shook the thoughts out of her head and focused on Gaku, "sorry about that spaced out for a moment," she gave a little laugh and continued, "Anyways if they ask you to be a S.F. member will you accept?" she asked wondering if she would have accepted now knowing the responsibility that came with it. along with the thankless work that they had to put in saving people they didn't know and people that don't even like them, it was harsh but she figured some one had to do it, they weren't going to save themselves.

Zero gave a cocky smile and sped up running circles around Vincent, "you may be an awesome foccer player but running is my thing," She said while dodging the people on the streets. They had just made it into the city but they didn't slow but instead they sped up. People were gawking at them some even were yelling things at them, but she couldn't caught what they were saying so she just ignored them. Zero flipped over some people that just came out of a store when she heard a siren and a man's voice come out of a loud speaker yelling at them to stop. Zero slid to a stop nearly tumbling over, she waited for Vincent to catch up but the police car caught up to them first, a man and a woman officer stepped out of the vehicle while loading weird looking guns and putting them in their holster, the man stepped in front of her and the woman to the right side. They didn't have the guns out but they did have their hands on them ready to pull them at a any moment, Zero's eyes went from the man then to the woman then back to the man, "Is there a problem officer?" she asked cautiously. The man grunted and looked like he hated her already, "Yeah, disturbing the peace, your gonna have come with us" he said taking a step forward taking out a pair of hi tech looking hand cuffs. Zero didn't move she resisted the her nature of fighting and stood still, "I'm sorry sir, I didn't mean to. I forgot i was in the city." she said as helplessly as possible. Zero was starting to regret leaving Vincent but now hoped he wouldn't try to get involved, they seemed to not notice him, maybe because he didn't have cat ears and a tail.

Zero smirked as Vincent pulled her away, the officers took cover and watched them take off to explosion, they would try to follow suit but the two were too fast. "Damn that was close, I really owe you one. If Andrew found out i'd been arrested he'd probably flip out," she said still running.

Both Caleb and Naomi were bored. Wandering around the entire school complex while they were catching up held their attention for a while but now they were exasperated of their surroundings. They were trying to come up with things to do when they ran across Uriah and Clara.
Caleb explained to her that Uriah had this major crush on the student healer since forever and only recently asked the girl out. When the two pairs approached each other, Caleb asked what were they up to.
"We're going to meet up with a few others in the apartments. Apparently, there's this awesome party going on," Uriah answered.
"Party," Caleb said in a rather astounded tone. "Since when do you party, Uriah?"
Both Clara and Naomi giggled at that and Uriah was fluster. "Sure. Embarrass me in front on the ladies."
"Don't worry, Uriah. I'm not a partier, either," Clara said in a thick Southern accent. Caleb never noticed her accent before. That in itself made him like Clara even more. He thought southern accents were totally charming. The fact that she was taking up for his best friend gave her more bonus points to boot.
"Well, I am," Naomi exclaimed. "Lead the way, you two. We've been trying to find something to get into for a couple hours. There better be some hot guys there."
“ I really didn’t know till I missed my time.” Katt sat down on their bed looking up at her husband . “ Babe I just noticed something. This child is going to link the spirit and natural world like you and the human and animal world like a feral. He’ll have the best of both our worlds.”
Aaron slowly took a step away from Lance and Rock. “ So what does this make us now?”
"I do not think the baby will be burdened with my destiny as the Link between the worlds of humans and spirits," Ben responded. "The Great Spirits came to my father before I was even conceived and announced my destiny. My parents never said that I would be the start of a legacy. Besides, I would not wish that on my child." He started thinking about all the horrible creatures he faced. All the gruesome things he'd seen. The near impossible feats he accomplished. He didn't want his child to ever have to endure that.
"I do not know how the Great Spirits think or what they intend to happen but they are not a secretive group. Whatever their intentions, they always announce them beforehand. If they have not come now, our child is spared from such a life threatening destiny. Well," he smiled slyly, "at least from MY side of the family. Your side is a bunch of animals."
