in the first Ip Man film , he was just shot once in the shoulder

Ip Man wasn't trying to kill his opponents, even though it's obvious he easily could've killed every person he fought.

He was only shot once, but that doesn't really matter. Bourne being shot doesn't matter either.

No one was superior to Ip Man, that's the point.

And look, it's obvious you've got a hard on for Bourne, but the fact is he loses, accept it.

Bourne has incredible damage soak, I'll give you that. But that alone isn't enough to win a fight against an opponent superior to him in just about every other way.

No one avoids getting hit, no matter how good the are. Bourne will connect with Ip Man, and Ip Man's damage soak will be tested.

Ip Man got hit already by the Japanese General...it just pissed him off.

Only a few...then Ip got serious and dominated him.

I remember. Seems Ip was holding back because he knew the General would kill him if he lost.

Bourne struggles with taking on 3-4 Blackbriar Agents, granted, he handles them but with difficulty. Ip Man took on easily over 30 martial artists coming at him at the same time. He handled them with ease.

Ip Man is sim ply on a higher tier. Bourne is hella nice. But Ip Man is just plain rediculous.

Better how? They have comparable feats. Huo wins because he's better with a weapon, and has some McClane damage soak. Also he's far stronger and more agile.
