Lobo has a proven track record of being one of the DC’s best h2h fighting. This is proven thanks to doing extremely well, against a spectrum of characters with just his fist, and his good old hook chain. The same can not be said about Deadpool. Deadpools chances of are further reduced, thanks to Lobos instinctive ability to measure up his opponent, and deduct its Achilles' heel.
Deadpool is one of the best fighters in Marvel, for some reason you keep trying to ignore this.

Lobo will win with his weapons not his physical abilities.

What Mindset said. And unlike Lobo he doesnt have to rely on super strength and durability whenever he takes on teams of Avengers, X-men or FF all by himsels.

Here's my take...

a.) There's no denying that Lobo is a good brawler, but I don't think he has demonstrated the level of fighting skill that Deadpool has.

b.) I think they are very comparable where healing factors are concerned. However, I have seen Lobo 'killed' (in the sense that his soul actually left his body) by physical attacks that I'm confident Deadpool would have been able to rapidly heal from... But everyone has their low showings.

^ That said, I think the only advantage Lobo has is that fact that he might be able to wrap Deadpool up in his chain for the immobilization win. Other than that, their healing factors will likely compensate for any damage caused (ie. this fight could well go on forever without any outside variables to affect it.)

Brawling is a skill in and of itself. Lobo will force Deadpool into a brawl eventually, in which Lobo is a better brawler. Though Deadpool is not bad at brawling himself.

Pretty much everyone is saying the fight will go on forever, what we are arguing is who will be kicking who's ass for the amount of time it goes on.

^ Brawlers cannot force skilled fighters into a brawl.

I can assure you that if Mike Tyson were to fight Bruce Lee, he would not be able to turn the fight into a boxing match. srsly

👆 Pretty much sums it up.

Deadpool is pretty strong for his size. ✅

And used to bitchslap worlds greatest sumo fighters (even before the ehancements) He'll avoid the brawl if he wants.

Ugh. Yes they can. And it happens all the damn time in fights. How? By being faster, more relentless, and because 'technical' fighters are still prone to making mistakes as is anyone, and their strict, procedural view of combat can be a hinderence, i.e. Once they get caught, the gameplan will go out the window unless they can get the space to right themselves in time

Boxing is not brawling. And Mike Tyson can absolutely corner Bruce and force him to exchange. And Bruce will not do well in that regard.

It's pretty admirable how comics have kept up the bubble of silly traditional martial arts mystic of the 80s though, even with the surging popularity of MMA around it.

Lobo can force Deadpool into a brawl. To do so, all it takes is for Lobo to simply close distance between himself, and Deadpool. Deadpool can attempt to be acrobatic, and use poke/strike tactics but he is facing someone who is as fast as he is, only bigger, and with enough experience to back up his fighting skill.

Oh yeah...Lobo IS almost 8 feet tall isn't he?

But just on that virtue alone, and being near a ton in weight, all the while still moving as fast as Deadpool, he would HAVE to be quite a bit stronger than Deadpool to do so.

If his strength was decreased to match Deadpool's exactly, all the while he gets to keep his size/weight, then he wouldn't move nearly as fast. Deadpool would not be used to walking/running/and fightintg while weighing 1,800 lbs.

Almost forgot about that. In pure H2H Lobo does have a big reach advantage.

Tbh I guess I just unconsciously assumed that his height and weight would be equalized too.

But if he gets to keep those while still being as fast as Wade, then he wins even more decisively in my view.

Sorry for not specifying, when I said physical attributes I meant strength, speed, durability etc.. since those are grossly high compared to Deadpool. I didn’t mean to extend this to his healing factor, or his height/weight/reach etc..

Yeah if thats the case the extra foot or two in his arm length is big in pure H2H and probably puts him over the top with the mass too. I mean if he pins Deadpool that might be it for him. But anyways in an all out fight at Deadpool level Lobo wins hands down with his tech advantage. His bike alone gives him the mobility he could fly around all day slinging his chain at deadpool and the bike is durable enough that anything deadpool chucks at it is going to be dodged or ignored.

But even in pure H2H fight healing factor size and weight advantage makes him too much for wade.

People keep bringing up this uber fighting skill Lobo allegedly possesses -- I'm still waiting to see proof of it.

...And when I say proof, I mean scans of Lobo actually employing superior fighting skill in a fight. If this cannot be provided, then why should I assume Lobo is in DP's skill-league?

Proof would be his entire history of fighting X character. Proof can be found in his respect thread.
