I can't imagine being so jarred by a blow to the head from another human being that I fall down in a lifeless thump.

Not saying I haven't been knocked out before. It was just not from hand to hand combat.

Totally agreed. Rocky Marciano was one hell of a boxer. Yeah, he was definitely strong, but he was also extremely skilled. He new EXACTLY how to take someone down. Notice in this clip how he derides Walcott's attention, and then hits him opposite to Walcott's direction of movement.

Shane Carwin's KO of Frank Mir was one of the most brutal I've ever seen. He chopped him down like a tree.
