Megaman Legends 3 for the 3DS

Now, I'm typing this while simultaneously cycling through a couple dozen pairs of pants, but as this article confirms, Capcom has finally confirmed that they're returning to the Megaman Legends franchise, the third game to be released for Nintendo's upcoming 3DS.

Now, people who know me, know that I don't give a flying f*ck for Megaman; I think he's even more an overly whored out has-been than Sonic could ever be, and hasn't had a piss hole's worth of anything halfway decent. But I'll stress here and now that whenever I say things like this, I leave Megaman Legends as a HUGE exception to this, and now that the one Megaman franchise that I give two shits about is finally returning after some ten plus years, I can only say that it's about ****ing time.

Anyone who remembers the Megaman Legends franchise probably remembers the cliffhanger-esque ending to Megaman Legends 2, with a couple plot points that were not entirely resolved (anyone remember Joe?), and Megaman

stuck on Elysium with Yuna and Sera, with Roll, Tron, and the others working to find a way into space to find them

All that's left now is a God Hand sequel, Shenmue III, and a new Starfox title, and I'll know the joy of living.

Pissed cuz now I gotta buy a 3DS for only one damn game.

HYPED OUTTA CONTROL CUZ IT'S PHUCKIN MEGAMAN LEGENDS 3!!! Now Cap just needs to whip up DS4 and I can die happy.

AGREED! Just make sure Mr. Mccloud stays in his damn space craft for most of the game. Dog Fights is what it's all about!!!

I never really like megaman either. Legends is a totally different breed. I can't wait for it

I realize this game isn't everything there could be, nor was it the only game worth it, but still, there's nothing on the horizon for 3DS, just like there's nothing now... a rehashed Zelda can only take it so far

A Kingdom Hearts game on it is a fairly large step in the right direction. Same thing could be said for a Star Fox remake I might have heard about. Can't remember for sure though.

I mean, gosh, people have gone insane on the Capcom Unity boards.

Now the REAL SF hate will come out. 5 different SFIVs, 6 REs and 2 new IPs. I really don't care about Mega Man at all, but I could understand the rage, now. The mm fans are feeling what us ds fans have been feeling for a long time.

I'm never been so bored with a fighting game since KoF xiii or whatever

I've grown to dislike SFIV. Used to love it, but at least I tolerate it now, it has a certain charm... MvC3 has none of that

Well that's you're opinion. I'm not happy with Capcom right now but I'm not going to lie and say that I don't like mvc3 and love sfiv. Also looking forward to umvc3. Sorry that I can't share in your hate.
