It would be hilarious, but Surfer is apparently fully equipped when he wishes. Just ask Alicia Masters. The rest of the time, Surfer prefers to be more modest than Doc "Blue Pipe" Manhattan.

As to the fight, yeah, without writer protection or a DC mandate, these Kryptonians don't have a chance against Thor and Surfer.
